Day 5
This morning the traffic was gone - and we arrived on time.
The work crew finished the second rolling rack for the store, but there are still four more racks and six more shelves to finish. Helen and Deborah dug helped dig holes for the columns that will support the dividing wall which is not yet

Day 4
This morning our crew left right on time. However, the trip which normally takes 45 minutes, took more than 2 and a half hours because of traffic. Once we arrived, the work crew immediately got started on the Chapel construction and a project to build storage for the store. We completed the first

Things are really starting to come together. I mean that among group members themselves, and between the group members and the boys at Hogar Miguel.

Day 2
Our first actual day of work was a long, but fun one. Most of the crew spent the first half of the day helping out on the construction of the new chapel on the hill. There is a lot of work yet to be done, but we made some good progress. The afternoon was focused on the VBS program. The kids

Day 1
Day one at Hogar Miguel was a homecoming for some, and for most, an introduction to the amazing ministry being done there by Karen Rodas. When we arrived, the whole team chipped in to unload the donations for the home. We then got a lesson in laying-brick 101, since most of us will be helping out
