To place an order, simply go to shawnsmith.com, or click the Place Order Here button at the bottom of each page on this site. At shawnsmith.com, select your item(s) from the list at the bottom of the Handicrafts page. Items are listed in ascending order numerically, not by letters. Requests for specific colors can be submitted, but cannot be guaranteed on smaller items. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.

Nearly all of these handicrafts are “hecho a mano”, or “handmade” by our good friends in Guatemala, using ancient Mayan techniques.  Proceeds of these items go to support the “Lutheran Women”, and their school, Colegio Trilingüe Luterano, in Santiago Zamora, Guatemala.

We have come to know and love this indigenous Mayan community, which is why Shawn has led two missions there, and helped start a child sponsorship program to assist them. See Our Story here.

The “Lutheran Women”, who live in this small village, are dedicated to serving the Lord by making these crafts, selling them, and giving a percentage to their church and school.  We are happy to help support their mission by offering these items to you during this limited time.  These are some of the finest handicrafts in all of Guatemala; many of which take weeks, even months to make.
