Hogar Miguel Magone Aguacate, Guatemala Hogar Miguel Magone is a privately funded home to 60 boys between ages 6 and 16 who are orphaned, or who have been abused by their families and removed from their homes. Celebrate Children International is a Christian adoption agency that is also committed to humanitarian aid in impoverished countries like Guatemala. CCI works with Hogar Miguel, and many orphanages and homes in Guatemala, and throughout the world. CCI is committed to an ongoing relationship with these sites, and makes regular onsite visits to monitor their funded projects. 100% all of the sponsorship donations go directly to these projects. During our various mission trips to Guatemala, we have helped to establish the following child sponsorship programs that are designed to continue financial support to our mission sites, and serve the needs of children living in extreme poverty in their communities. These sponsorship programs are administered by Christ the Shepherd Lutheran Church, First United Methodist Church, and our sponsor organization, Celebrate Children International. All of these non-profit organizations located in the U.S. are committed to volunteering their time and resources so 100% of your donations go directly to these children’s needs at their projects. Fundación Hunapú in Santa Maria de Jesus, Guatemala supports approximately 300 children living in extreme poverty by helping them to receive an education. Through this sponsorship program, each child will receive school supplies, school uniforms, help with public school registration fees, and access to humanitarian aid projects such as our stoves, water filter, medical clinic, eye clinic, and concrete floor projects.
