Students here receive an outstanding education, supplemental food and healthcare, daily Biblical teaching, and a lot of love from Rosita, her family, and staff.  Most of these beautiful children are malnourished due to impoverished conditions in this area, and lack adequate shoes, clothes, and school supplies.

At this site, our construction crew  will join the native Guatemalan work crews on their continuing construction projects to build a school, bathroom facilities, and community center.  Our humanitarian aid crew will deliver shoes, clothes, and other supplies as well as document these children for sponsorship in the States in order to continue the financial support to this program.  One program we hope to establish through a follow-up child sponsorship program, is a nutrition program which will provide daily food, as well as school supplies for these children.  Our medical crew will offer a free clinic for these children, and families in the village, which will include treatment and prescription of medicine.  The vbs crew will lead a daily Bible school for the children at the school which will include music, crafts, and a Bible story.

Located near a small village in eastern Guatemala, not far from the major city of Coban, about a 6 hour drive from the capital city of Guatemala City, is Rosa De Amor. Rosa De Amor is a project of love, and a life-calling, of it’s founder Rosita Zet. After beginning a construction project of a summer home in this quiet remote village nearly four years ago, Rosita discovered incredible needs of her impoverished new community: food, clothing, healthcare, and a decent education. Today, still commuting weekly from Guatemala City, she and her staff of 4 educate over 100 children out of her unfinished summer home. She has begun construction on a new school and community center, and has started to raise funds for this new life-calling and ministry.http://web.mac.com/shawncsmith/iWeb/Site/Rosa%20de%20Amor%20Blog/Rosa%20de%20Amor%20Blog.htmlhttp://web.mac.com/shawncsmith/iWeb/Site/Rosa%20de%20Amor%20Blog/Rosa%20de%20Amor%20Blog.htmlsponsor_a_child_Rosa.htmlsponsor_a_child_Rosa.htmlshapeimage_6_link_0shapeimage_6_link_1shapeimage_6_link_2shapeimage_6_link_3
