Took the whole family for a drive to Belle Fourche this afternoon for a friend’s wedding.  The girls were excited about that; they love weddings.  I (Shawn) teared up a couple times during the ceremony myself (sigh).  I’ve got four girls to marry off... how am I going to make it through?!

The big surprise part of the trip, though, was for Autumn and Cynthia.  We didn’t tell them until we were leaving the wedding reception at Belle Fourche that we had called their previous foster family (the ones they were with when we adopted them) and were going to their house for a visit.  When they found out, they were elated.

Mary and Dick have now adopted a child of their own, Rebecca (in the back, to the left of Autumn in the cell phone pic above) and are also currently doing foster care for Maree (standing in the front, to the right of Kella).  It was fun for the girls to see Mary and Dick again (and their old house) and all the girls had fun playing downstairs while Deanna and I swapped stories with our hosts.  Fun day!
