Peter Morgan’s Oscar-nominated adaptation of his hit stage play follows David Frost, the jet-setting TV personality with a name to make, as he interviews the disgraced Richard Nixon, who has a legacy to save. Michael Sheen has another great part as the ambitious young chancer, but Frank Langella steals the film as the wily ex-President defending his role in the Watergate scandal. With both men having so much to lose, the tension builds very believably.
