Busy, busy, busy.  School has started and as I juggle the kids carpools, theater practices and band practices, I’m planning my own schedule around two big trips at the end of the month.

 

 

Then, on October 3rd, I’ve been invited to be part of a panel of Internet experts to talk on Capitol Hill about the importance of parental and family Internet education and give ideas and insights on why it’s important for parents to get plugged in.  More on that to come.

 

In the meantime, try to carve some time out of your busy schedule to see what’s happening on the technology front.  Ask your kids, visit the Digital Life website or read this month’s Plugged In Parent column to keep up.  With the holidays ahead of us, more and more products, games, websites and gadgets will appear on the market targeted to kids and families.  Start learning now so you’ll be ready to manage - and enjoy - it all later. ; )
