No tech hugs.

Remember when people worried about being replaced by robots.  Factories automated assembly lines,. And we’re still worrying - scared that technology will replace our human interaction - emails substituting face to face conversations and a good game of Monopoly being swapped out by an afternoon in front of the Xbox.

I was traveling this week and the kids and my husband behind with schedules and notes, clean laundry and groceries.  Less than 24 hours after my departure my daughter came down with the flu.  I was grateful for the text messages I could sneak to her during my conference meetings.  I called to check on her during my break sessions.  But when she cried and told me she couldn’t wait for me to get home, I realized something.

Technology will never replace the human touch
