My favorite gadget ever.  I’m in love.  I’m addicted.

 

This thing is so cool.  I never have to be away from my email or internet.  I can look up a dentist in Galveston, movie times, phone numbers, directions, maps.... anything.  I might be driving my family crazy with it, but it sure has come in handy!  

 

And the little ‘sent from my iphone’ signature on my emails is the snazziest thing ever.

 

Actually, mom and I both have one.  While in Galveston last week we went down to the AT&T store and waited in line.  We were about #20 in line.  Definitely lucked out.  Not a bad wait and no trouble getting one.  I did have some trouble with the first one I got, had to take it back to Apple and they exchanged it for a new one.  I think it ended up being a bad sim card.  AT&T wasn’t really much help at all.  Hopefully it will be smooth sailing from here on out.  

 

Despite the problems at first, I am smitten.  All things Apple seem to be magic.

 

We came down to Galveston for a week of sunshine with mom and dad, but unfortunately it’s rained A LOT!  We did get a couple days of sunshine, and yesterday it was just overcast.  We spent all day yesterday at Schlitterbahn.  Maddox and Daddy had a huge time.  Crew had a fun time in the kiddy pool, too.  He’d never been in a pool he could really touch the bottom in!  

 

Today it has rained the entire day though.  Hoping it will dry out in time for the fireworks tonight.  We did a little shopping and we’re getting ready to go see Transformers.  

 

We’ve had fun despite the rain.  But, I haven’t gotten many pictures.  Chad did have the prettiest flowers waiting for me in the room.  Not sure where he found that bit of romanticism.  :)

We had a fun day last week at the Aquarium in Houston.  I had no idea it was so big.  Well, it wasn’t huge, but larger than I expected.  And very nice and clean. The boys had a big time.  One of the highlights of the day had to be seeing the tigers.  There was just a very thick piece of glass separating them from us.  The tigers were very interesting in babies.  So interested in fact that one jumped up on the glass right at Pop Pop and Crew.  Their faces were priceless.  If only I’d had my camera ready.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Maybe I should have warned Chad before I took the snapshot, ha!  Talking on ichat is so much more fun than the phone.  I don’t think Crew was too sure about it.  But, I know daddy likes being able to SEE his boys.
