Halfway there.

I have to say that I am really starting to enjoy working on this piece. Still a long way from understanding what exactly is the meaning behind every aspect. I have found so many relationships, and it feels that every little symbol has some significant spiritual meaning.

Of course, this is not the actual Aztec Calendar, though it illustrates the different parts of it. In Aztec times, it was used as a sacrificial alter.

During this second half of the year, I will delve more into the meaning of each of the parts, as well as my observations and relationships I am seeing within the realm of sacred geometry.
