Thanks for visiting my web site. My name is Phyl, short for Phyllis, and I simply love to sew.

I was born and raised in Eggertsville, a suburb of Buffalo, New York. After surviving 18 Buffalo winters, I decided to attend the University of Arizona in Tucson. After graduating from the U of A,  I bought my first sewing machine. This began my lifelong passion for sewing.

I have lived in Phoenix Arizona since 1975 and can not imagine living anywhere else. I am lucky enough to share my house with my 3 dogs,  Katie, Molly and Bailey.

Besides sewing, I enjoy reading and doing crossword puzzles. I am an avid U of A Wildcat fan and live and die for the U of A Wildcats to beat ASU.

Phyl’s Quilts and Things

We all know how therapeutic quilting is and this wall hanging says it all.  My father, was a psychiatrist, so I just had to buy  this printed panel by Block Party Studios,  Machine quilted on a longarm by Cynthia Smith.  The quilt size is 35” by 27”.
