On the third day of riding from the Mediterranean coast, the troops of the Reenactment arrived at the edge of the city of Beer Sheva. A grove of tamarisk trees provided a bivouac for the night. On the anniversary of the attack, 31 October, there was a parade through the Old City of Beer Sheva, a Memorial Service conducted at the British Military Cemetery, and the Reenactment of the taking of Beer Sheva from the Turkish defenders in 1917. The combined effort of all participants, support teams, tour organizers, and officials proved to be a stunning success. The Memorial was well accomplished.
