I think most of you all know that although I love my children more than anything, I can not hold back from admitting that they are, how can I put it lightly,  just a touch weird.  For example, Katie has a strong fascination with Ian’s underwear.  This morning we all woke up from a very LONG night (Katie’s been teething something terrible the past couple of days and keeping Seth and I up with her) to find that she was surprisingly cheerful.  We (me, Seth, Ian and Katie) were in our room (mine and Seth’s) watching a morning cartoon when I noticed that Katie had disappeared to her room.  I figured she was probably playing with her dolls, but upon inspection, I found that she had cleared out Ian’s entire underwear drawer and was wearing all of them on her arms.  I decided to not mess with a “FINALLY cheerful Katie” so I let her go ahead and play to her heart’s content.  She had fun trying ever so hard to put the underwear on--she still hasn’t figured out that they go on from the bottom rather than the top.  She also liked trying to put them on her dolls as well as Ian himself.  If my camera hadn’t run out of juice this morning, I would have loved getting pictures of all of it, but, unfortunately, this is the only picture I was able to get.
