We’ve all been busy these last couple of months.  Ian ended his pre-school year, and so far we don’t plan to take him back next year.  Pre-school is pretty expensive around here so I thought I would try my hand at “home schooling” him through his final year of pre-school before he goes into Kindergarten.  Katie is busy growing up.  We can’t believe what a sweet, cute, funny and energetic little girl she has turned out to be.  She still has her occasional sassy side come out, but all of the sudden she is SO SWEET!!!  Seth and I are absolutely loving the stages the kids are in right now.  We get a kick out of the funny things they say and do.  An example is the other day, after Seth had finished mowing the lawn, Ian was pretending that the grass clippings on the ground were snow.  He and Katie watch a new show that teaches them words in Chinese, and he was throwing the grass in the air and saying the Chinese word for snow which is (I don’t know spelling) SHEA’ (pronounced she-eh) except he was adding a “T” to the very end of the word, so it was coming out she-eeeehhhh-T.  Seth and I tried desperately not to laugh, and quickly correct the mistake before the neighbors heard (he was yelling it so loud).  It was pretty hilarious.  Anyway, I promised some video of the kids that we have been taking so here are some of Katie counting and also one of Ian’s class performance of the graduation dance and song.
