Belorusian - Born, I began my career in Kiev (Ukraine) as an animator and animation-director. In 1992 I was hired by the Walt Disney Animation Studio and I came to the United States. Subsequently, DreamWorks Animation Studio hired me as a supervising animator.

I’ve directed my first animated short film “THE LOG” in 1988. It’s a story for adults where the theme of my experiment was to search for none traditional approaches of the storytelling and visualization in animation.
