In January of this year, I visited the Aldergrove Seventh-day Adventist Church, just outside of Vancouver, Canada.
I went there to do a story on the church’s community outreach program. The church runs a program called Acts of Kindness. They are involved in more than 40 different programs that directly help their local community. They do everything from change oil in the cars of single moms, feed hungry school children every morning to repair homes for families in need.
Two years ago they started a program called the Kingdom Assignment. This is the story of one life that was changed by the members of the Aldergrove church.
This story will appear on the Adventist Mission DVD, the 3rd quarter of 2008. For more information, you can go to www.AdventistMission.org.
