Scott & Valerie

Have you ever taken a tour of a baseball stadium?  Recently, we had our first opportunity to do so and it was of the Washington Nationals Baseball Park.  Valerie’s department at work offered the moral boosting activity and group of her co-workers and Scott spent an afternoon checking out all that this ballpark had to offer.

The tour guide took us to just about everywhere one could go including out on the field (but not on the grass!), the dug out, the President’s Club, the commentator’s booth, and private rooms just to name a few areas. We found out that private rooms rent for $400,000 an event (shown to the right).  Some of us thought it was more cost effective to purchase a house instead!  But for those with money they don’t know what to do with, why not?  Rent out a private room at the stadium for just a few friends!  Even includes a bathroom, kitchenette, and area to keep the food warm and serve it buffet style.  The place is small, though.  Much too small to ever be worth $400,000!  But we forgot…this is for people with money to spare.
