Retention Breath

The retention breath strengthens our energy, and balances left and right aspects of our brains. A retention breath practice builds energy and is wonderful for tonifying and building health, and healing.

Inhale thru right nostril for a count of 4, hold for 8; exhale thru the left for 4; then inhale left for 4, hold for 8; then exhale thru the right for 4; inhale thru both for 4, hold 8; exhale thru both for 4. This is one round repeat 2 more cycles. ( If holding for 8 causes strain, try holding for 4 and slowly building up. )

You can increase the number of cycles to 5. As you become comfortable with this you can increase the count in each cycle to 6:12:6 and eventually 8:16:8. It is important to not strain!Consectetuer arcu ipsum ornare pellentesque vehicula, in vehicula diam, ornare magna erat felis wisi a risus. Justo fermentum id.
