Graduate Staff Assistant

Master of Library & Information Science
Portfolio, June 2007 candidate
The Information School
University of Washington

I am currently seeking a position as reference and instruction librarian in an academic library. I feel my experience in and dedication to exceptional reference services, success in collaborations with university instructors, and outreach to students campus-wide have prepared me well to serve a library and its academic community.

I was first inspired to academic librarianship as an undergraduate student. The library was a place for my intellectual work and library professionals directly supported my leaning by providing meaningful services and relevant collections. Since then, I’ve sought significant work experiences in academic libraries from Budapest to Seattle to learn the craft of librarianship.

I will complete a Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Washington’s Information School in June 2007, where I’ve focused my studies and field experiences on information literacy and research skills instruction.

I hope the résumé and portfolio linked on the left will help you get to know me and my work.http://www.lib.washington.edu/ougl/http://www.lib.washington.edu/http://web.mac.com/seely/iWeb/portfolio/Intro.htmlhttp://www.ischool.washington.edu/http://www.washington.edu/shapeimage_1_link_0shapeimage_1_link_1shapeimage_1_link_2shapeimage_1_link_3shapeimage_1_link_4
