So you want to start your own hot dog business? First, let me tell you this; ”You can do it!”.  It is not that hard to do, but you will need to be persistent and patient. At least once a week someone stops by my Hot Dog cart and says, “ I always wanted to do this.” I always reply. Why are you not doing it? They normally have a long list of reasons why they can’t do it. At the top of that list is what my wife says, “It’s not a real Job.” Well just what is a real job? Working to make some big corporation rich or being stuck in a dead end job with no future that you hate because it is a “Real job” with a steady pay check. Here is the definition of the word job; “a paid position of regular employment” Oxford Dictionary. I regularly work my hot dog cart and I get paid to make a hot dog for the customer. What do you know? Running a hot dog cart is a real job. So tell you friends or spouse to get off you back. Chase your dream and at least give it a try.
