“Make it so possible for your dog to succeed,
that it’s almost impossible for it not to.”
WOLF-to-WOOF Ltd.
WOLF-to-WOOF training will help you identify the wild roots of your pup’s behavior –
why it chews your shoes, digs up the garden, or chases things that move.
As you practice training your dog through your dog’s eyes you’ll be gaining
a more in-depth understanding of how your pup’s brain actually works.
This makes it possible to train in ways that are most meaningful
to your dog.
Put the two together, and we’re better able to encourage our pets’ abilities while
respecting their limitations.

What training methods do you use?
I use reward-based methods that combine treats with praise.
‣ I do not use intimidation – pack leader, scruff shaking, hold downs, leash popping, etc.
‣ I do not use choke chains, pinch collars, etc.
Rather than you trying to control your dog, your dog will be learning to control itself.
This means less stress, more success - for both you and your dog!
Why should I choose WOLF-to-WOOF?
I have a very different way of looking at dog behavior. Here’s how it works:
When you signal your dog to SIT, and it sits, your dog is doing something you’ve asked it to do
instead of what it otherwise wanted to do. I call this “behavioral inhibition.”
Each time your dog learns and practices a new skill, it is learning a new “behavioral inhibition.”
This process prepares your dog’s brain to look to you for cues as to how to behave.
The result: Train the brain to inhibit itself and you’ll have trained the dog to control itself.
This sounds great, but how do you accomplish it?
First, my Course Introduction provides you with an illustrated guide as to how dog brains
actually work. Then, we use that knowledge to train a set of 12 Daily-Use Skills.
Over the course of six-weeks, we’ll meet once a week in your home for an hour of
hands-on training. You‘ll also receive a weekly Training Guide in your email with
step-by-step instructions for each skill, along with fun and fascinating tips and
topics for general dog care.
Will my dog be trained at the end of 6-weeks?
You’ll see a remarkable change in your dog’s behavior between Week-3 and Week-4.
There is not, however, any program that can completely train your dog in just six-weeks.
Some skills take longer than others to learn, and some are easier than others to forget – true
for both your dog and you. Your six-week course will give you a set of life-long tools to build a
trusting relationship with your dog and see reliable results, now, and in the future when your
pup will inevitably need a “skills tune-up.”
