For the life of me, I can’t remember what this recipe is called. Not french bread, I’ve never done a loaf of that. Not Italian bread. No loaf of that done either. But in the fog of my newly-contracted brain, this recipe doesn’t ring a bell. I can tell you this. It didn’t turn out exactly as I’d hoped. If I recall correctly, the crumb of the bread was too dense. Maybe this one is better off forgotten. I score an A+ on getting a nice golden color though. Don’t you think?
