This easy recipe is the base for so many things. Flavorful and, of course, full of garlic, you can use this chicken hot, as a main course, as the base for soups, or as a cold, protein rich topping for salads.

6-7 cloves garlic, minced

2-3 T EVOO (that’s extra virgin olive oil)

1 pd chicken tenders (or cut two breasts into 8 tenders)

Put EVOO into large skillet and heat on medium-high. Add garlic and saute until hot. Place chicken into hot oil and brown on both sides until juices run clear.

Salt/pepper to taste.

There are loads of herbs that would do the same thing for this chicken, but garlic is one of my favorite things to cook with, which might explain why people sniff the air and frown as soon as I come within two feet of them. You see, it clings to the clothes pretty good. Ah, well.
