One More Day for Angels...

our lives forever changed...

On January 13, 2006, on what was suppose to be a wonderful vacation to Jackson Hole, WY our only child, Zachary, had a grand mal seizure on the plane.  He was diagnosed with a brain tumor the next day.  He was only 19.  He had surgery at Duke University by Dr. Allan Friedman June 9, 2006.  MRIs indicate the surgery was a complete success.

Alot of prayers have been answered!  I give all the praise and glory to God!  Next I give thanks to Dr. Allan Friedman and his staff.  The research Doctors and their teams.  The  Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke, for continuing to take great care of Zachary.  He continues to go for MRIs of his brain every 6 months now, but the longer he goes tumor free, the farther apart our visits are.  Soon he will only have to go once per year!

Zachary turned 21 on July 23, 2007.  Along with his birthday celebration, we celebrated 14 months tumor free!

April 8, 2008- MRI still clean and stable....YEAH!!!!!

Thank you DUKE!!!

At Duke there is Hope!  Until there is a cure...hope that, every person can have the same great prognosis as Zachary.
