This is where all the trouble started. As a new member of the original World Audio Design Forum, Steven Shiels a senior member had invited me via the bulletin board to their first “Yorkshire Meet. My son Anthony and I had gone along with great trepidation. I was in the early stages of recovering from a stress related breakdown and wondered what the people there would be like.
I needn’t have worried. the day out was brilliant. The guys there were real enthusiasts and did not treat me as an intruder into a clique. The sights and sounds were fantastic and set me off on a journey of discovery into a fascinating and rewarding hobby. These guys saved my sanity and that’s no lie!
