Metal craft from days gone by: how very far gone the attention to detail and beauty is. These were found at The Dirty Junk Shop in Alton, where we also found the Soda Pop Boxes featured in last month’s issue. Their gorgeousness drives me crazy! You can’t find hardware like this at your neighborhood home improvement store. You can’t even find it in “Restoration” catalogues. The mold has been thrown away.
Even these blotted escutcheons are works of art.
