All of the ribbons and seam bindings featured on this page were found in various tangles of rickrack, elastic, embroidery floss, tailor’s chalk, unwound bobbins, safety pins, and other highly obscurant stuff. If we’d been dismissive, or too lazy to do a little pawing, we would have missed out on some treasure! The moral: a little effort can, at times, bring big rewards.
