Last Sunday Dad and I met up with Aunt Patti and Drea at the park.  What at first seemed like nothing but a fun afternoon in the grass with Drea ended up being a ‘refresher course’ on K9 obedience.

It’s a boy!
Wednesday, July 23, 2008
Today Dad got an email from the breeding department at GDA to let him know that I’m a dad!  Can you believe it?  Dad was told that the litter consisted of a single, black male.  That makes me a

It’s official...I’m a STUD!
Thursday, July 17, 2008
First, I want to apologize for not blogging for the last few months.  It’s really not my fault...it’s Dads.  There never seems to be any opportunity to jump on the computer when he’s not looking.

Auntie and Edison
Monday, April 21, 2008
Yesterday I got to spend the entire day with Aunt Rhiannon and Edison.  Edison’s Mom had a funeral to go to so Eddie came over and played...and played...and played.  (Edison’s another puppy in

Faster than a wave!
Monday, April 14, 2008
I’m free...sort of.  Dad and I have been up in San Francisco for a few days...and that means two things: 1) I get to play with Ganzo and Steve, and 2) I get to go to my favorite place - the beach!!

If patience is a virtue....
Saturday, April 12, 2008
...I’ve got a lot of virtue saved up (whatever “virtue” is)!
This is me waiting for Dad while he’s working out of Bret’s office in San Francisco for a few days.

Prior to our trip to SF, I spent a

1 year!

Today marks 1 year that Dad and I have been together.  Can you believe that it’s been a year already?  Dad says that it often feels like a lifetime (I think that’s a compliment, although the first

Passed another test...

Late night reading

Happy Easter!
Sunday, March 23, 2008

On Saturday, Dad and I went downtown to meet up with about 19 other puppies in training to take the train to Pasadena for lunch at the Cheesecake Factory.  I had so much fun!  Uncle Glyn told me

My name is Woody and I’m with Guide Dogs of America. Over the past year I’ve been blogging about my pre-training to become the eyes of someone in need. My foster dad, Scott, (that’s the two of us on the day he picked me up from GDA) and I have been working really hard and although I think I would have made a really great guide dog, I have been chosen instead to be a stud dog for the program and an ambassador for GDA...it’s quite an honor (and as I discovered, being a stud dog has it’s perks!). Although my role with GDA has shifted slightly, I’ll continue to blog my many stories and adventures.

Thank you for following me on my journey and please feel free to drop me a line to say hello!
