Bedtime Reading

I’ll keep this short as I’m currently away at camp while Dad is in Detroit for two days on business.  Luckily, the nice ladies at the kennel left their computers on and I was able to make a quick entry while they were doing their rounds.

In case you’ve not yet read “Marley and Me”, I highly recommend it.  Although I haven’t personally read it (it’s too difficult to turn the pages with my paws and hold the flashlight at the same time), Dad really seems to enjoy it.  He says that ‘misery loves company’ and that thanks to the untamed antics of a mischievous yellow lab called Marley, I seem quite well behaved....even when Dad says I’m ‘pushing his buttons’ (I didn’t know Dad had buttons...but I’m glad to know I’m able to push them!).

Often when i watch Dad reading a sudden bolt of laughter will erupt...followed by a tear or two.  And then, without fail, he’ll put the book down, come over and give me a big hug and a kiss!  I’m not sure exactly what Marley is up to, but whatever it is, it seems to work in my favor!

Thanks Marley!
