Yesterday, Dad and I went to GDA for graduation.  Drea’s brother Dustin was graduating along with two other siblings.  It was really amazing.  Each puppy raiser got to speak and each graduate got to talk about how excited they were to have their new guide dog.  The picture above is of Anne - Dustin’s puppy raiser - saying a few words about what it was like to raise Dustin and how happy she was that he would be the eyes for his new companion.  From what Anne told Dad, Dustin’s companion lives in National City (which is by San Diego..so he’s pretty close), goes to college and has teenagers at home...so he’ll get to play a lot when he’s not working.  Dustin is her first dog....and his companion calls him her “Snuggle Bug”.  I’m so excited for Dustin....I know he’ll do great!

 

I also got to see Aunt Georgia and Weeko at graduation (my sister).  She’s still being evaluated to be a Mom dog.  I’m crossing my fingers (paws) Weeko!!!!!
