This past weekend I made a new friend - Ganzo (that’s short for Garbanzo).  He’s a 5 year old yellow lab.  He and his Dad, Steve, came down from San Francisco for the weekend.  I had soooo much fun!!!!  Ganzo and I went to the doggie beach on Sunday with Dad and Steve.  It was my first time at the beach.  Who knew there was a place with so much water and this stuff called sand??  Unfortunately, I had to be on my leash for most of the time at the beach, but there was a few minutes that Dad let me off and I got to go and play in the waves and run after Ganzo in the sand.

 

Uncle Steve also taught me to ‘shake’.  It’s this funny thing you do when you raise a paw in the air and then you get a treat for doing it.  I wasn’t sure at first how to not fall over....I’m used to having all four paws on the ground at once.  But after watching Ganzo carefully, I got the hang of it.
