Yesterday I got to spend the entire day with Aunt Rhiannon and Edison.  Edison’s Mom had a funeral to go to so Eddie came over and played...and played...and played.  (Edison’s another puppy in training who lives only a block away from me)

 

We spent the first couple of hours playing at home.  I showed him all of my toys and of course whatever toy Eddie had...I had to have.  So we spent a lot of time ‘sharing’ toys (just like in the picture above where we shared one of my red Kong toys).  Then Dad and Auntie thought that we should go for a hike.  They thought it would tire us out.  Don’t they know by now that puppy energy is endless until we both collapse?  The big picture is of us coming back from our hike and the little picture is of Auntie walking Eddie.

 

There were a couple of points in the evening that we both just laid on the floor...we were pretty tired.  But I don’t get a play date every day...so I would muster up the energy to grab a toy, walk over to Eddie and drop it in front of him.  He would then grab the toy and we were off for round 3...or was it round 12?

 

After Eddie went home, I went right to bed.  Even if Dad said the word “Treat” it wouldn’t have made any difference.  I was one pooped pup!  

 

Thank you for the fun time Eddie...can’t wait for our next play date!
