Maple has been singing this little tune for a few weeks. Today, I was working on the computer a little bit and I heard her playing something kind of cool on the piano and singing along.  I said, “Maple, where did you learn that?” She told me she learned it in music class. I asked Halane about it later, and she said that she’d never heard it before. So I asked her to do it again, but the piano was a little more freeform on the second version. She has since sung it a couple more times, so it’s definitely a real song in her mind and she made it up all by herself! Neat.
