Abbey Presbyterian Church
Because of its strategic location in Dublin, Abbey Church has unprecedented opportunities to outreach to the growing multi-ethnic, artistic, musical, and native Irish communities. With the help of missionaries, the church provides programs for families, youth, and children, in addition to hosting open music recitals, art workshops, visitors' receptions, drama and cultural programs.
We would like to see the current ministries flourish year round and include choir and musical concerts, other musicians, poets, actors, writers, lecturers, and artists from around the world. The Dublin City Council is establishing an arts quarter in Parnell Square, where the church is located. Our goal is to open Abbey to the community and establish a Christian Arts Ministry. We also hope to expand ministries to children, youth and families. These goals will be reached with the support of American churches and MTW missionaries.
