Damage.
Just so we are clear on what has been lost and is not lost, the frost damage has been significant but even damaged vines can have secondary shoots that will produce grapes for harvest and many of the vintners I have spoken to have had no or minimal damage, even in more susceptible areas like Carneros.
The vines above are typical in that they are located at the bottom of a hill, and the cold air settled there. But over 95% of this vineyard is fine.
