As of February, Scott K. Douglas has been the in-house editor at Avia Productions Inc. (www.aviapro.com) for almost over a year (Jan/07), he was hired only 7 months after graduating amongst the top of his class in Confederation College’s intense and hands-on Film Production Program.  Since he graduated Scott has also worked freelance editing jobs for A.O.S. Productions, Dante Entertainment (now Dante Media Group: DMG) and 49% Hangin with the Brothers and Sisters Films.  These experiences in the editing field have ranged from Corporate Videos and TVCs to Music Video’s and EPK’s.

His drive, ability to deliver high-quality material and an ever evolving creative vision have allowed him to gain a large amount of experience in a small amount of time.  Scott continues to work, learn, and take steps to close in on mastering the craft of editing.  He continues on this journey knowing full and well that in this field, he must not only master the tools used (which are ever changing).  But that it is the art of the edit, the ability to tell story, this is the true craft he is internally driven to master.
