I graduated from Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus OH with my Bachelors of Fine Art, and went on to receive my Masters of Fine Art at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington.
I am extremely lucky to have a talented and patient husband and an artful and clever daughter to support my endeavors, as well as give that push when i need it.
My family in Casper only tend to give me strange looks sometimes and are always there for me no matter what!
So, on goes the journey...
I am in love with every aspect of it, and I still have much to explore! My work centers around how one experiences memory and mortality, and how they are intertwined. My current work is best explained with these two words: Dust and Echoes. Dust: earthly remains, and Echoes: a lingering trace or effect.
My central medium is photography because I am fascinated with the illusion of truth a photograph can provide.
