Collaborative Artist Programs

Pianists in the Collaborative Piano Program work with singers in the vocal program under the guidance of collaborative artist and teacher, Susan Keith Gray. The program nurtures the joy of collaborative performance through study and performance. The program is for pianists ages 14 and higher who are at early advanced through young professional levels.

Junior Collaborative Artists may participate at the Intermediate level if they have had no significant collaborative experience, or at the Novice Apprentice level for developing expertise. Workshops, lessons, pairing with singers and appropriate performance opportunities are the features of these levels.

Apprentice Collaborative Artists have significant ability and/or experience in the collaborative arts. Work Study options are available for these pianists, working jointly in lessons, rehearsals and classes of the vocal program. Collaborative Piano instruction includes one-on-one mentoring, coaching and master classes. These participants will perform on the weekly camp concerts.
