Drawing (ages 14 – 18 years):

The Magic Flute inspires the subjects we’ll draw during Camp Opera .  We will explore the technical side of theater creating our own designs for costumes, props, dance, and more.  Although the main focus of classes will be drawing, under the guidance of teacher Paige Keck, we will explore sculpture and use unfamiliar materials in familiar ways. Come develop your artist’s eye and learn techniques to make your drawings realistic, show dimension, and reflect your personal style.  The step-by-step format ensures each artist’s success, understanding, and enjoyment of drawing.

June 15 – June 29: $60/Program

Photography (ages 14-18):

This class will provide interested students with an interactive way to start taking more expressive photographs.  Students will bring their own digital cameras and learn from Aaron Packard about the basis of taking pictures.  This class promises to be an exciting adventure for the teen in your family.
