“Scott Piper is a first-class example of a modern opera singer: gifted, searching, thoughtful and creative.  The opportunity to work with this brilliant and caring artist in a beautiful and relaxed setting will inspire a whole generation of young artists, who whether or not they make opera a career will find their lives enriched with the study of this noble art.”  - Maestro Gary Wedow, conductor

“Scott sang the role of Edgardo in the very first production of Lucia di Lammermoor which I conducted.  I remember from that experience what was so special about Scott’s singing.  Scott impressed me with his ability to get to the heart of the matter, the heart of what it means to be a musician: the expressive, the aesthetic, the beautiful. All of those things are at his disposal like falling off a log.”  -  Maestro Steven White, conductor
