YPAC began with orientation for the parents and campers. A prize was awarded to one of first 50 campers to register for YPAC.
Claire Conklin won an iPod, case and a full scholarship for YPAC 2007. Registration and auditions immediately followed. After dinner, all campers met with their track coordinators to begin to get to know each other.
Campers were treated to a Variety Show which featured El Bethel Mime and Liturgical Dance Team, Hip Hop Puppets and Unsearchable Riches. Campers had free time, auditions and met with their small groups before returning to their dorms for lights out.
“Made to Shine” is the theme of this year’s camp. During the Bible study, each camper was presented with a candle and were encouraged to be lightbearers everywhere they go.
