Since 2004 I have had the privilege of working as Principal of Li Po Chun United World College in Hong Kong.  During this time, I come to experience first-hand what I had already known intellectually - that UWCs are uniquely dynamic agents of educational excellence that are at the sharp cutting edge of best practice in international education.

Like my fellow UWC-Heads, one of the many great experiences I have is to attend the regular meetings of the UWC International Council.  This is a wonderful, energetic and visionary group of men and women from all parts of the world, and they share the same vision to make UWCs agents of change that will make our world a better, more peaceful and more sustainable place in the years to come.

The UWC International Council meetings are held on rotation on the campuses of the UWCs.  As a result of attending these meetings, and some invitations from my colleagues, I have now been able to visit 12 of the 13 United World Colleges.

The images on this site share just a few of the photos I have taken.  They are designed to share with others the beauty and the distinctive character of the United World Colleges and to provide a brief introduction to these campuses that are spread across the globe.

This website is designed the supplement the other excellent materials that are now available on the web about United World Colleges.  These image galleries are not designed to show all aspects of the Colleges; they are simply a sample of photos I have managed to take during my own visits to the campuses.
