Traitors Gate ReviewVideo Games help menuI really can't recommend Traitors Gate. I found it boring and eventually quit about 1/3 of the way through. Trators gate is an unexciting adventure game. The player exlpores the inside of the Tower of London complex, locating rooms and the route and picking up things. Most of the areas are dark and gloomy. The things that need to be picked up are not obvious. If you miss one and have to go back for it, it takes a long time because moving around is slow and tedious. Many objects do nothing but slow down the play during pick up and later. Some objects and routes even lead to a premature game end as you are caught by the guards. Since the game is aparently timed and the game ends if you are caught by the guards, you can't simply enjoy exploring. Instead you should save as soon as you enter an area and then explore, reload and do the necessary things. I don't know what would happen if you missed something way back near the beginning and had to go get it again. I guess you would have to redo everything or run out of time. There is a traditional walk through at GameBoomers.com with graphics at the end. A question based walk through which might be shorter is at The-Spoiler.com.
