| This is my interpretation and rendering of the Feanorian script for the Elves from the "Lord Of The Rings" and "Hobbit" novels by J.R.R. Tolkien. The alphabet is also called the Tengwar. This rendering was originally used in a computer program that would automatically transcribe English text to Feanorian.
There are other variations of the character set. To simplify use, I stuck to the core definitions. There is a Tengwar truetype font for the Macintosh available at http://babel.uoregon.edu/yamada/fonts/tolkien.html. Here is another artists rendering of the alphabet sorted and commented on by me. The artist is unknown.
