Scents of Knowing founder Jack Chaitman is immersed in every element of distillation.  He is inspired by nature and motivated by his love of smell as an art form.

Touched by the potential for scent to bring about a connection to nature and limbic emotions, Jack began exploring this art over two decades ago, carefully observing the relationship that emerges between an individual and a plant essence. 

In his desire to offer the most harmonic symphonies of smell, Jack began building his own instruments.  Honoring the elements of the earth, in time Jack crafted customized distillation apparatus and methods to gently assist plants in releasing their essence.

Scents of Knowing offerings are the coalescence of Jack’s art.
