Deodar  Himalayan Health Program is focusing on integration of development of health, education, and the environment across the Himalayas with an ‘ecohealth’ approach.
Health vision is grassroots based, with small cottage hospitals and mobile units, communicating with the ultimate apex hospital.
Education particularly science based, integrated with the environment, and using modern technology.
Environment is a concern as integral to all sustainable development. Our focus is on preserving and restoring bio-diversity of the Himalayan Region.

Currently, our activities are based in the Kumaon Himalayas in North India’s Uttarakhand state.
CHIRAG, a Himalayan NGO has been helping in development of this area for over eighteen years. A rural Himalayan Hospital has now taken shape in the Nainital district of the Kumaon Himalayas. This is was the focus of our activities. We had talks, journeys, and a conference designed to help start, sustain, and develop this hospital.
Our Volunteers have helped to start and run this hospital, now we have a wider program that  supports the local area and all agencies including Aarohi another NGO,  state and central governments and a charitable mission.
