Published in 2007, The Beacons Way Art Trail, a project developed by Brecknock Museum Art Trust and Brecon Beacons Park Society, passes through some of the most dramatic countryside in Wales, starting at Ysgyryd Fawr, the Holy Mountain, near Abergavenny and running westwards to Bethlehem near Llandeilo. The Art Trail is based on eight day-long walks which make up the Beacons Way. Eight artists working in the Brecon Beacons National Park were commissioned to design a small relief image reflecting their response to an aspect of the Park’s landscape. Using the OS grid references provided, you can find the stones and make a rubbing using the tracing paper and crayons provided with the book.
