Why are we re-launching?
In late December of 2008, Knowledge As Power received a grant via Progressive States Network, funded by the Ford Foundation.  We attempted to quickly re-launch for the Washington State 2009 legislative session, but there simply wasn’t enough time.  So, with the help of Eben Design and Seattle Web Group, we’re developing KAP’s new sites for launch in late 2009.

We’re looking forward to providing Washingtonians and Seattleites with easier-to-use timelines, a comprehensive listing of bill documents, video, and free, downloadable civics curriculum.

With an easier site and more content, we’re looking forward to helping more individuals become informed and effective in the legislative process.
