Sparta Mountain Day Environmental Activities: Directions to Rykers Lake on Edison Road in Sparta, NJ: From Rte. 287/23 Interchange: -Take Rte. 23 North 9.6 miles and take Right jug-handle to Oak Ridge Rd. exit.  -Continue through light on Oak Ridge Road and drive 3.1 miles. -Take a Right (past gas station) onto Ridge Rd. -Take Ridge Rd. 2.8 miles and Take a Right onto Edison Road -The Entrance to Ryker's Lake is 300 meters on your Right. Please park on Edison Terrace which is another 300 meters past this Ryker's Lake Entrance. It is a 7 minute walk down to the Ryker's Lake entrance and down the dirt road to Ryker's Lake. From Rte. 80/15 Interchange: -Take Rte. 15 North 8.2 miles and take the Sparta/Lake Mohawk Exit (Rte. 181) on Right. -Take 181 North 1.2 miles and Take a Right onto East Mountain Rd. -Take East Mountain Rd. 1.3 miles and Take a Right onto Glen Rd (Rte. 620 East). -Take Glen Rd. 3.7 miles and Take a Left onto Edison Rd. -The Entrance to Ryker's Lake is 300 meters on your Right. Please park on Edison Terrace which is another 300 meters past this Ryker's Lake Entrance. It is a 7 minute walk down to the Ryker's Lake entrance and down the dirt road to Ryker's Lake. From Rte. 517 / Rte. 620 Interchange in Sparta (at STS / Leo Building Intersection): -Follow Glen Rd. (Rte. 620 East) 4.6 miles and Take Left onto Edison Rd. -The Entrance to Ryker's Lake is 300 meters on your Right. Please park on Edison Terrace which is another 300 meters past this Ryker's Lake Entrance. It is a 7 minute walk down to the Ryker's Lake entrance and down the dirt road to Ryker's Lake. From Rte. 517 / Rte. 23 Interchange: -Take Rte. 517 South 1.6 miles and take a Left onto Edison Road. -Follow Edison Road approximately 4 miles  - parking for our event is on Edison Terrace which is on your Left. -You can walk down to the Ryker's Lake entrance is on your Left. It is a 7 minute walk down to the Ryker's Lake entrance and down the dirt road to Ryker's Lake.
