The nominations just came out today. I am so excited. Last year I was nominated twice-- three times is a record for me. I’m a little disappointed that “A Sanctuary From Slavery” wasn’t nominated-- that is the piece I shot in Benin West Africa along with “The Point of No Return” mentioned above. But, I’m glad it snuck in under the “On Camera Talent” portion.
Michelle Gillen and Gio Benitez also were nominated for their work on “The Forgotten Floor.” Party in Orlando December 1st!!!
UPDATE: I won!!!!!
One Emmy for On Camera Talent.
